Homestead Arcana will first release on Xbox Game Pass on April 21, 2023 and includes over 30 achievements that can be unlocked by playing the game’s story and completing specific tasks. However, it takes time for players to realize that unlocking an achievement called “You Can’t Be Too Prepared”, which requires crafting all the items in the game, is more difficult than others. It didn’t take. It doesn’t appear in-game at all.
Players who were trying to unlock “You Can’t Be Too Prepared” soon found the achievement removed. For those who had only that achievement left, their Gamerscore was updated and the 1000/1000G and 35/35 achievements were unlocked.
It’s unclear if Xbox removed the achievement on its own or because developer Serenity Forge requested it be removed. We reached out to Xbox, but they declined to comment on it.
It’s extremely rare for achievements to be deleted on Xbox. So rare that it may actually be unprecedented. Generally, Xbox prefers to fix buggy or problematic achievements rather than remove them. But in any case, the Homestead Arcana track record has him one less.
