Xbox Series X and S Will Soon Boot Up Faster

Microsoft will soon implement an update for the Xbox Series X and S to speed up console startup.

As reported by The VergeOn Twitter (below), Xbox’s Integrated Marketing Director confirmed that the new features tested in the Xbox Insider build cut console launch times in half.

The Xbox doesn’t seem to make much of a difference, but we’ve created a new animation that reduces the original startup time from 9 seconds to 4 seconds. This means that Xbox users can get into consoles and games even faster. The update isn’t available to all Xbox users as it’s currently in beta testing, but it may be fully released soon.

Faster times are only available to those who have the console set to Energy Saver mode-people in standby mode usually skip the boot screen altogether, resulting in a slight slower boot overall, but with the Earth. Suitable for energy charges.

To make Energy Saving Mode more attractive, Microsoft has implemented some changes, including the March update, which allows you to download updates when you switch to this setting.
