Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Announced

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have announced an extended path for Xenoblade 3. This will add a variety of new quests, characters and storylines to the game from 2022 to 2023.

Published as part of today’s Xenoblade Chronicle 3 Direct, the expansion pass costs $ 29.99 / £ 26.99 and will be available with the main game coming out on July 29th.

The pass itself will be split into four pieces, the first release will take place on the launch date of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and the last piece will be dropped by the end of 2023.

First, the expansion pass, which will be released on July 29, will give the character’s costume various unnamed “useful items” and color variations.

The second drop adds new hero characters and quests, new challenge battles, and new costumes. It is promised to arrive by the end of 2022, but Nintendo has not yet provided a release window. The third drop, with new hero characters and quests, challenge battles, and new outfits, will be released by April 30, 2023.

The final drop, arriving by December 31, 2023, will add a whole new story scenario to the game. This is a complete storyline, not some weird quests, so it will probably add a big chunk of new story to the game.

The individual waves for these DLCs are not available individually, so if a player wants to get additional, they will have to purchase the entire extension pass.
