You Can Now Buy a PS5 Without Any Stress

After years of near-constant shortages, finally you can just go Buy PS5 on Amazon or Xbox Series XThere is no “Request Invitation” button. No inflated third-party pricing. You can buy only one. This day has been a long time coming.

This generation of consoles – PS5, Xbox Series X|S and, to a lesser extent, Nintendo Switch OLED – are rare to say the least. Finding inventory for current-gen consoles, both in physical stores and online, is much harder than usual. It has been nearly impossible to find at any point in the last two years.

Sony recently said the PS5 shortage is essentially over. Finally.

Still, it’s rare to find every model of every current console available online without major delays.

I think there are several factors at play here. By all accounts, the chip shortage that previously made these machines short has finally eased. It’s also possible that demand for these machines is slowing, as it usually happens in the first quarter of this year.

So, if you’ve been looking for a new console for the past few years and are having trouble finding inventory, this is good news. There is only hope.
