Yuji Naka Seemingly Confirms Michael Jackson Helped Compose Sonic 3 Soundtrack [Update]

Update 6/23 9:58 am PT: Yuji Naka somewhat receded his claim that Michael Jackson was somehow involved in the music of Sonic 3. Despite years of rumors and confirmation that Jackson was at least to some extent involved in the misleading story of the Sonic 3 soundtrack, Yuji Naka revealed his tweet “misunderstood.”

“I feel misunderstood because I don’t speak English and use translation tools. I’m sorry,” Naka wrote.

This is related to a previous tweet that seems to connect Sonic 3 music with Michael Jackson through a homage to Sega that Naka tweeted to pop stars. This rumor needs to be returned to the biggest secret vault in game history.

original: Former Sega programmer Yuji Naka seems to have confirmed that Michael Jackson actually worked on the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3 soundtrack. This can explain why it is no longer used in new re-releases of the game.

On Twitter, Yuji Naka responded to the fact that the soundtrack to Sonic 3 in the Sonic Origins collection has changed. He then followed up, “The music for Sonic 3 has changed, even though Sega Official uses Michael Jackson’s music.”

Naga further reveals that the company is referencing Sega’s TikTok video using a star song. Celebrate Sonic’s 31st Birthday.. But this doesn’t seem to deny his previous implications for the Sonic 3 soundtrack.

Earlier this week, Sonic social media manager Katie Chrzanowski confirmed that the original soundtrack of the game was not included in the new classic game collection.It has long been speculated that pop star Michael Jackson worked on the original soundtrack because of his similarity. The biggest song Smooth Criminal, Moscow Stranger, Jam and more.

Instead, the Sonic 3 for Origins soundtrack was taken from the 1993 prototype discovered in November 2019. The fans weren’t really happy with the result.

Sonic Origins will be available on June 23 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
