A Borderlands Cover Was Once Chosen by a Very Good Dog

“Cissy came out, sat down, it wasn’t bad, but we were like, ‘We For real Where is this pug sitting, choosing the key art for this next big brand?” Gorman recalls. “And we have come to the point, [Hartmann] “That’s it!” And we all said, “Okay,” collected all the pieces, and started towards the door. [Hartmann] “You know I’m having sex with you guys, right?”

Hartmann founded the company in 2017 and left after working there for over a decade. Prior to his venture with 2K Gmaes, he worked with Take-Two and helped publish franchises such as BioShock, Borderlands and Civilization.

He now runs Amazon’s video game business with the aim of creating the “Future Disney”.
