Dragon Age: Dreadwolf In-Game Cinematic Focuses on Solas and Sets the Stage for the Upcoming RPG

In honor of Dragon Age Day 2022, BioWare has released an in-game cinematic for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.

Cinematics is about Dragon Age: Inquisition’s playable character, Solas, and is clearly one of the main driving forces for future RPGs.

Varric, another playable character first appearing in Dragon Age 2, narrates the video and tells the story of Solas, formerly known as Fen’Harel from the Dread Wolf.

“I knew him as Solas, the dream-obsessed and thoughtful sorceress, but long ago he had another name: Fen’Harel, Dread Wolf,” says Varric. “Ancient elven gods of lies, or heroic rebels against tyranny, depending on which story you believe in. In the final battle against the elven gods, Solas imprisoned them and brought the Fade’s raw magic to life.” created a veil that divides our world, but now he’s about to tear that veil and destroy the world, and we’re the only ones who can stop him.”

There’s no release date for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf yet, but BioWare confirmed that the highly anticipated RPG recently completed its alpha milestone. So the game is now playable from start to finish. That said, it still needs a lot of work and polishing.

BioWare has prepared some surprises for Dragon Age Day 2022, including new character posters for Dragon Age: Absolution, a new series set to premiere on Netflix on December 9, 2022. You can check it out in the slideshow and trailer below. See the show and details here.
