Following the Dead Space remake’s launch and positive reception, EA seems to be asking some fans if they’d like to see a Dead Space 2 or 3 remake next.
As reported by euro gamer, Problem investigation shared dillon rogers twitter A Gloomwood developer, simply asking, “How interested would you be in a similar remake of Dead Space 2 (2011)?” “How interested are you in a similar remake of Dead Space 3 (2013)?”

This is a fairly standard question with answers that range from “not at all interested” to “very interested”, but it shows that EA is at least entertaining the idea. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, but it’s always nice to see these questions asked.
Rogers’ tweet Reset ERA, And fans started to listen to their opinions. Many are for the Dead Space 2 remake, but for Dead Space 3 it’s a little more unnerving.
“[Dead Space] 3 should be completely rethought, removing crafting mechanics and possibly redoing story beats so much of that game’s story content isn’t cooped up or stuck behind the character you’re playing. ” wrote ResetERA user Jersey_Tom. Most of that game was ruined due to his EA meddling with Micro his transactions and the erroneous idea that Dead Space fans were interested in his RE5-esque co-op experience.
“A complete remake would be a huge undertaking to make that game standout. But I’m totally in line with others that a Dead Space 2 remake is definitely going to be a money maker.” .”
Dead Space 2 was 9/10 in 2011 and Dead Space 3 was 7.8/10 in 2013. It said the launch of Dead Space 2 meant “there’s a new gold standard in survival horror,” but Dead Space 3 was “a ferociously fun time in spite of itself.”
Our review of Dead Space Remake states, “It’s a fantastic remake and definitely the definitive way to experience one of the best survival horror shooters Capcom has never made.”
However, Dead Space remake developer EA Motive recently announced that they are working on an Iron Man game, so it may be a while before we see these remakes.
