After a year of silence, Square Enix has finally released an update for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, reassured fans that it’s on track for a winter release.
Square Enix posted a minimal Q&A on Final Fantasy 7 Twitter (below), answering the question, “How’s development going for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?”
We don’t really know the answer to that, but it looks like fans may soon have a release date for the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake sequel. Square Enix said, “Development is progressing as planned.” “We are currently working on finalizing the game’s release date.”

Square Enix won’t be hosting a 26th anniversary celebration for Final Fantasy 7, but it still has a good chance of revealing something big through the many video game showcases scheduled for Summer of Games.
