GTA 6 Leaked Footage Used in Goat Simulator 3 Ad, Promptly Gets Taken Down

A new trailer for Goat Simulator 3 appears to have received a takedown notice by Take-Two after incorporating leaked footage from Grand Theft Auto 6.

As reported by euro gamer, Coffee Stain North has released a new trailer for Goat Simulator 3, but it’s going to be hard to find now that it’s been hit by a DMCA takedown. The trailer used leaked footage from his GTA 6 as part of the video.

Eurogamer reports that the trailer begins with an NPC named Sean. Sean had been fake interviewed for his role as a Ragdoll his NPC in Goth his Simulator 3. According to Sean, he attended “the most prestigious Ragdoll school in the world.”

However, when asked about his other work, Sean said: You can actually see me in some footage that was leaked months ago.

Shaun then pointed to the GTA 6 leaked clip and edited it himself. This is the footage that inspired Take-Two to issue a trailer takedown.

A screenshot from the Goat Simulator Twitter account that showcases the trailer shows the familiar “This media has been disabled as reported by the copyright owner” black screen.

The GTA 6 leak came from September when Rockstar Games confirmed the veracity of a series of clips found online. Rockstar lobbied for the footage to be removed from the internet, calling it “early development footage” illegally obtained from the system.

Despite the leak, the studio says that “work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned.”
