Here’s Trombone Champ Being Played With a Custom Trombone Controller

The game’s Twitter now belongs to Trombone Champ, filled with videos of people trying (and usually failing hilariously) to play quirky rhythm games.

Trombone Champ is a new PC game where you play classical music on your trombone. Use your mouse or controller to adjust the pitch of the notes played by your Mii-like avatar. Any slight misalignment of the notes will make them sound sharp or flat, just like a real trombone. Unlike other rhythm games that make you sound like a rock star with five button presses, Trombone Champ’s fun comes from its extreme precision requirements.

Now these things tend to work normally, so some people are coming up with new controller methods for playing games. on Twitter rude Trombone Champ can now be played with a real trombone. In the video below, Rudeism can be seen playing his champ on a plastic trombone. An ultrasonic sensor controls the slide and a microphone controls the prank.

Rudeism is already working on the 2.0 version of the trombone controller as they are not satisfied with the range of motion of the current version compared to the real trombone. Other than that, this looks like a pretty hilarious way to play one of the funniest games of 2022.

You may have heard of Rudeism. Rudeism is known for creating wacky controller setups for popular games. For example, he made Elden Ring playable with a Fisher-Price game controller, and Sifu worked with his motion controls.
