Kingdom Hearts Fans Changing Twitter Bios En Masse to Organization XIII Members After ‘X’ Rebrand

Elon Musk’s affinity for the letter “X” is shared by at least one Kingdom Hearts character. That’s Master Xehanort, the greatest villain in Square Enix’s popular trilogy and the true leader of Organization XIII.
This relationship led Kingdom Hearts fans to change their profile pictures en masse to that of Organization XIII’s hooded Nobody. It’s just one of a wave of memes as fans around the world mock Musk’s bizarre decision to do away with one of the world’s iconic brands.
It apparently started when a user named Letryx urged Kingdom Hearts fans to change their profile pictures, writing, “KH fans, it’s time to stand up.”
It will be called X from now on, so everyone should change Twitter’s PFP to this

The trend quickly spread among Kingdom Hearts fans on the platform, many of whom also posted scenes from the game.

Others put their own twists on the familiar cloaked figure.

Some fans chose to reference other games entirely.

Part of this trend stems from fans’ continued passion for the Kingdom Hearts series. The Kingdom Hearts series is famous for merging iconic Disney characters such as Donald Duck (no longer the greatest sorcerer of all time) with familiar faces from Final Fantasy and other series. The winding saga of Kingdom Hearts is a bit too complicated to summarize here, but suffice it to say that it managed to garner a large and dedicated fan base.

Kingdom Hearts’ last major release was 2019’s Kingdom Hearts III, which wrapped up most of the main arc. Kingdom Hearts IV development is currently underway, starting in a city similar to Tokyo.
Meanwhile, confusion continues in the aftermath of Musk’s sudden and shocking Twitter rebrand. No doubt more fans will be joining the movement soon.
