Metroid Prime Remastered Physical Version Is Back In Stock

Update March 10, 2023: Physical copies of Metroid Prime: Remastered are out of stock at most retailers, but Amazon. So if you’re looking to buy a physical copy, this is probably your best bet. If it’s out of stock when you check, you might be lucky to try again later.

Physical versions of Metroid Prime: Remastered are hard to come by. So far, demand seems to be well ahead of Nintendo’s popularity forecasts, and inventory is running low.

Metroid Prime Remastered (Physical Edition)

Nintendo did the old shadow drop trick and released Metroid Prime Remastered on the Nintendo eShop the same day the company announced the game. However, if you want to get your hands on a Switch title in physical form, you can get it while it’s in stock.

If you’re enjoying the game in digital form (not to mention instant access, of course), you can buy it now on the Nintendo eShop.

What is Metroid Prime Remastered?

Metroid Prime Remastered is an enhanced version of the game that first appeared on GameCube in 2002. This version has improved dual-stick controls, but old-school gamers can choose to play with controls that mimic the feel of non-dual sticks. Original if they so choose.

When it first launched, Metroid Prime was another example of the classic 2D Nintendo series, making the move to 3D in a better way than anyone could reasonably have expected. All the hallmarks of a side-scrolling Metroid, such as solving environmental puzzles, massive boss battles, are here and worked incredibly well in 3D.
