At today’s San Diego Comic-Con, WB revealed more about Gotham Knights, including a new gameplay trailer featuring Batgirl.
The trailer highlights Batgirl’s combat, including her wrist blaster and multi-bata Lancerow. She also gave insights into her personality, focusing on her desire to protect Gotham City, regardless of what name her protection was made. We conclude by announcing that anyone who pre-orders Gotham Nights will receive a 233 Kustom Motorcycle skin.
The SDCC panel included the appearances of Creative Director Patrick Reading, Narrative Director Henremei, Cinematics Director Wilson Mui, Cinematics Directors America Young (Batgirl), and Christopher Sean (Nightwing). Comic writer Scott Snyder also made a surprise guest appearance. The panel discussion chunks emphasized how Gotham Knights dialogue and tones differed depending on which of the four characters was played, and Lemay had WB Montreal custom dialogue at each level and in the movie throughout the game. He said, and all four choose to fight crime in different ways.
Gotham Knights has already unveiled Robin and Nightwing gameplay, and several other trailers. That version of Gotham City is probably even bigger than that of Arkham Knight. Gotham Knights will be released on October 25, 2022 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X and S after the PS4 and Xbox One versions were officially canceled earlier this year.
