New Marvel Game Starring Captain America and Black Panther From Amy Hennig Announced

The new Marvel game from Amy Hennig’s Skydance New Media division takes a different approach to the Marvel Universe, set in WWII-era Paris starring Captain America and Black Panther.

Set to Vera Lynn’s “We’ll Meet Again,” the moody cinematic trailer ends with a brief glimpse of Captain America’s iconic shield and a confrontational Cap and Black Panther. , the words “Captain”, “Soldier”, and “Spy” flash across the screen before the trailer ends with the hero’s shadowy look.

The teaser hints that the game will likely take place in two locations, Paris and Wakanda, and feature four heroes. Two of his are Captain America and Black Panther, but Howling his Commandos member Gabriel Jones and Wakanda spy Nanari, leader of his network also make appearances.

Aside from a few Easter eggs (Hydra notes?), Skydance Media appears to be hiding plot details.IGN’s Ryan McCaffrey interviewed Hennig to learn some new details about the project.

Skydance New Media was founded in 2019 as Skydance’s video game development studio. Under Hennig, Skydance New Media has already announced a Star Wars game in partnership with Lucasfilm Games, but the team looks poised to add another Marvel title to its lineup.
