Nintendo Confirms It’s Missing E3 2023

After reports that all three major platform owners skipped E3, Nintendo confirmed to IGN that it will indeed be absent from the event scheduled for June.

“We approach our involvement with every event on a case-by-case basis and are always looking at different ways to engage with our fans,” Nintendo told IGN in a statement. We decided not to participate as it didn’t fit our plans, but we remain strong supporters of ESA and E3.”

IGN previously released news that Xbox, Sony, and Nintendo will not be officially attending E3 2023. Xbox will have its own event in Los Angeles, but not at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

With E3 just around three months away, uncertainty continues to float around the event as publishers weigh their options. Ubisoft recently announced that he’ll be at E3 if the event takes place, but IGN understands that little has changed since a month ago and few publishers are fully willing to attend. increase.

E3 2023 is currently scheduled to take place June 13-16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. As in the past, it’s unclear if Nintendo will hold a Nintendo Direct to coincide with it.
