PlayStation VR2 Release Date and Price Revealed

PlayStation VR2 will officially release on February 22nd, 2023 for $549.99, with pre-orders opening on November 15th.

There’s also a PlayStation VR2 Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle that retails for $599.99 and includes everything in the standard edition plus a PlayStation Store voucher code for Horizon Call of the Mountain.

Also, the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller Charging Station, which launches on February 22nd, will allow players to “charge the controller through a simple click-in design without having to plug it into the PS5 console, allowing the console’s USB port to I will release you.”

Regarding pre-orders, residents of the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg may initially pre-order PlayStation VR2 exclusively through PlayStation’s online store at direct.playstation.com. Sony has also revealed 11 new titles heading to PS VR2 in 2023. They include The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, Crossfire: Sierra Squad, The Light Brigade, Cities VR – Enhanced Edition, Cosmonious High, Hello Neighbor: Search and Rescue, Jurassic World. Aftermath Collection, Pistol Whip VR, Zenith: The Last City, After the Fall, Tentacular.

We don’t yet have a full launch lineup, but Sony confirmed on February 22nd that they are “expecting over 20 titles.”
