Ubisoft Confirms It Will Be at E3 ‘If E3 Happens’

Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo may not be part of E3 2023, but Ubisoft said they’ll be on the show if it happens.

at Ubisoft Q3 2022-23 Responding to an investor call, CEO Yves Guillemot responded to an investor asking if the company plans to “attend an event in person this year” to show the game.

“If E3 happens, we’ll be there and we’ll have a lot to show,” Guillemot said.

IGN reported last month that the Big 3 were absent from the Los Angeles Convention Center show floor, calling into question the importance of this year’s E3 event. Ubisoft has yet to officially announce its plans, but based on Guillemot’s comments, it looks like there will be some form of in-person presence.

Ubisoft’s lineup has even more question marks going into 2023. The company recently delayed Skull & Bones for six times and canceled three of his unannounced titles amid “big challenges” for the industry. We are also waiting for more details about the already postponed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. tried to allay investor fears about the lineup.

Ubisoft has a long history of showing up at E3. In his final in-person show for Ubisoft in 2019, the company debuted his Rainbow Six Quarantine (later renamed Rainbow Six Extraction) and his Immortals: Fenyx Rising. The company will return to his E3 digital show in 2021 to unveil the premiere of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
