Genshin Impact Summer fantasia event Is in full swing and you have the chance to win new free fishle skins along with boat races and character stories. This is the first alternative costume to the Dark 4-Star Princess, but before claiming it, you’ll have to jump over some hoops and hunt down elusive items.
Fishle skin is part of an event under the umbrella of Summer Fantasia. This means that if your skin needs a chance, you need to meet the requirements to start a summertime odyssey. These include:
- Reach Adventure Rank 32 or higher
- Complete Mona’s Story Quest (usually requires Adventure Rank 40, but HoYoverse has lowered the AR level to 32 during the event)
- Chapter II Completion of Prologue: Autumn Wind, Scarlet Leaves
HoYoverse cites Mona’s story quest as a requirement, but it’s more recommended. You can choose to participate in the Summertime Odyssey event and skip Mona’s story quests. That way, you just miss the background character development. If you haven’t completed Mona’s story quest yet, there is a Quick Start option on the event page where you can choose to start.
If you’re new to AR 32 or Chapter II, you can still get Fischl skins. After the Genshin Impact version 2.8 update is complete, you will be charged Genesis Crystals in the in-game shop instead of earning it.
After completing the first quest of the event, Summertime Odyssey I, you will arrive at the Golden Apple Islands. Open the event menu and select Resonating Visions to see an overview of event rewards.
To get the fish skin, you need to collect 16 fantastic snail shells. The first day of the event will include 14 Fantasmarconk locations, the rest will be displayed within the next few days when more islands in the archipelago will be accessible.

After collecting 16 of them, reopen the event menu. At the top of the Resonating Visions section is the Fischl skin, Ein Immernachtstraum.
This is just skin. You can participate in other Summer Fantasia events to earn iridescent Flotsam, but you will not be offered fishle. This event currency can be redeemed for free Fischl at the event store. When you get 2,400 Iridescent Flotsam, don’t forget to redeem them for Fischl and other rewards.
Once you have both the fish and costume, you can change the fish costume by opening the character menu and going to the fish page. Select the hanger icon or press the button at the bottom right of the fishle’s main character page, then select EinImmernachtstraum to change the outfit.
